This Study Visit is meticulously crafted for youth workers representing civil society organizations and municipalities, with the overarching aim of collaboratively developing a unified youth participation model.
This model will encompass methodologies, distinct phases, and exemplary practices geared towards fostering youth engagement in democratic life.
Throughout the Study Visit in Lisbon, hosted by DYPALL Network, participants will immerse themselves in a diverse array of youth work practices, along with exploring mechanisms and structures supporting such initiatives.
The primary focus is to enable participants to reflect on the adaptability of these experiences within their local contexts, thereby enhancing their skills and knowledge to effectively support and elevate the quality of youth work.
The 4-day Study Visit will bring together participants from various project partner countries, fostering collaboration and the exchange of invaluable good practices among youth workers from both civil society organizations and municipal offices.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
Explore Local Youth Participation Practices: Delve into practices concerning youth participation in decision-making processes at the local level, reflecting on their potential transferability to the participants’ specific local realities.
Engage Municipal Officers: Establish a closer connection between youth workers and local municipality officers, aiming to align them with the needs of young people. The overarching goal is to involve municipal officers more effectively in the decision-making process at the local level.

Promote European Connections: Foster meaningful connections between youth workers and municipal officers from diverse European regions, encouraging cross-cultural collaboration and knowledge exchange.
