The Future in Balance project will take place in Manerba del Garda, Italy, bringing together participants from different European countries to explore the connection between digital skills, environmental sustainability, physical health, and mental well-being.
The project focuses on helping participants develop practical competences that can support a more balanced and sustainable lifestyle. Through non-formal education, intercultural learning, international cooperation, outdoor activities, creative digital tools, and collaborative workshops, participants will have the opportunity to strengthen both their personal and practical skills.
About the Future in Balance Project
Modern society is experiencing several interconnected challenges. Rapid technological change, climate concerns, and increasing attention to mental health and well-being are influencing the way people live, learn, work, and communicate.
Digital technologies offer significant opportunities for education, participation, creativity, and innovation. At the same time, their responsible use requires digital awareness, critical thinking, and the ability to maintain a healthy relationship with technology.
Environmental sustainability and healthy living have also become increasingly important skills for younger generations. The Future in Balance project aims to bring these areas together and encourage participants to consider how digital innovation, environmental responsibility, and personal well-being can support one another.
What Will Participants Gain?
During the project, participants will take part in practical and interactive learning activities designed to develop useful competences for everyday life and future professional development.
The programme will include:
- Workshops focused on digital competences and responsible technology use
- Activities related to physical and mental well-being
- Practical approaches to sustainable and environmentally friendly living
- Outdoor learning activities
- Collaborative and creative projects
- Intercultural learning and international exchange
- Opportunities to explore digital tools in creative ways
- Non-formal education activities
- International cooperation with participants from different European countries
Through these activities, participants will have the opportunity to discover practical ways of combining technology, sustainability, health, and personal development.
Digital Skills, Sustainability and Well-Being
A central element of Future in Balance is the relationship between the digital and physical worlds.
Participants will explore how digital technologies can be used constructively while also developing greater awareness of potential challenges associated with excessive or irresponsible technology use.
The project also promotes sustainable habits and practical green skills. Participants will have the opportunity to consider how everyday choices can contribute to environmental responsibility while supporting a healthier lifestyle.
Intercultural Learning and European Cooperation
The international structure of the project provides participants with an opportunity to interact with people from different European backgrounds.
Through group activities, discussions, collaborative tasks, and intercultural exchange, participants will be able to share experiences, perspectives, and ideas.
This international environment is expected to support intercultural understanding while strengthening participants’ communication, teamwork, and cooperation skills.
Becoming Active European Citizens
Future in Balance aims to encourage participants to become more active and responsible members of their communities.
By combining digital responsibility, sustainable living, personal well-being, and intercultural cooperation, the project seeks to help participants develop competences that can be applied beyond the training environment.
The overall approach encourages participants to use technology consciously, make more sustainable lifestyle choices, maintain a healthier balance between digital activities and physical life, and contribute positively to their communities.
