The “Creating Youth Spaces that Connect, Inform & Empower” project is a 7-day Erasmus+ Training Course in Grenoble, France. The programme brings together 20 participants from across Europe to explore practical ways of creating meaningful, inclusive and engaging non-formal learning environments.
The training focuses on the “Connect – Inform – Empower” approach, combining psychological safety, media and information literacy, dialogue facilitation and participatory learning. Participants will explore methods that can help young people feel safe, express their views freely and take an active role in their communities.
🌍 What Will the Training Focus On?
Throughout the programme, participants will take part in experiential learning activities, practical workshops, peer exchange and participant-led facilitation sessions.

- Supporting trust, belonging and active participation,
- Developing media and information literacy,
- Facilitating meaningful and reflective dialogue,

Participants will have opportunities to exchange good practices with other international participants, test different facilitation techniques and improve them through practical experience.
🎯 Main Aim of the Project
The training aims to strengthen participants’ ability to design safe, inclusive and participatory learning spaces while using media and information literacy and reflective dialogue as effective educational tools.
The programme also encourages participants to develop approaches that empower young people to become more active in their communities and take greater ownership of their learning and social participation.
The project contributes to EU Youth Goals 1, 4 and 9.
📚 What Can Participants Gain?
During the training, participants will learn how to design learning experiences that encourage young people to communicate openly, feel a sense of belonging and participate actively.
They will also explore practical methods for:
- Media and information literacy activities,
- Dialogue facilitation,
- Critical thinking and questioning,
- Reflective debriefing,
- Youth leadership,
- Shared responsibility,
- Community-based action.
Another important part of the programme is the development of a practical youth work resource. Participants will contribute their ideas and experiences to a resource that can later be adapted for use in everyday youth work and educational activities.
