ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION:
- Organizing cultural events and library activities
- Arranging international picnics
- Promoting ESC, Erasmus, and other volunteering programs
- Visiting schools
- Leading language and thematic workshops for youth
- Conducting DIY workshops
- Visiting centers and other NGOs with workshops
- European Youth Days: Planning the organization of Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity events.
- 21 March – International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (volunteer initiative)
- Creating activities to promote a healthy lifestyle, sports, and recreational workshops (volunteer initiative)
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD, AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS:
- Receive pocket money as per ESC Guide 2022, page 29.
- Receive a food allowance and house cleaning supplies.
- Receive HENNER health cover.
- Share accommodation with other volunteers, including common space and bathroom.
- Have access to foundation bikes.
- Be reimbursed or covered for local transport used for work.
- Be reimbursed for travel tickets according to ESC Guide page 26, including “green travel.”
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY:
- Volunteers receive an introduction to the Polish language.
- Daily working language is English.
- Volunteers receive coaching from a professional.
- Volunteers have an adaptation week at the start of mobility.
- Volunteers receive a Youth Pass certificate.
- ESC volunteer diploma.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE:
- Prepare a series of social events promoting culture and diversity.
- Conduct workshops promoting tradition, sports, and arts.
- Undertake actions supporting environmental protection and city preservation.
- Raise awareness of unhealthy food, encouraging local produce and seasonal food, and promoting smart energy and food consumption.
- Advertise non-formal education in schools and educational institutes
