Overview: Join us for an innovative training course designed to enhance Inclusion and Diversity in Volunteering and Solidarity Projects. This program aims to enrich participants’ understanding and skills in collaborating with a vibrant tapestry of young individuals.
Purpose:
This course serves as a crucible for fostering essential competencies in international and educational project management, particularly when engaging with Young People With Fewer Opportunities (YPWFO).
It’s an opportunity to hone the art of adapting non-formal methods to the unique dynamics of diverse groups, thereby nurturing sustainable partnerships across borders and communities.
Objectives:
Cultivate abilities to manage and educate within international projects, tailoring approaches to mixed groups’ needs.
Forge enduring collaborations for European Solidarity Corps projects at both transnational and grassroots levels.
Bolster the capabilities of professionals and practitioners in ESC projects to embrace and address the challenges of inclusion and exclusion among varied youth demographics, especially those facing disadvantages.
Participant Criteria: We welcome individuals with a foundational grasp of these themes, coupled with some practical experience in related projects and with the specified target groups.
Program Design: The curriculum is crafted to introduce and execute novel strategies for ESC project implementation, focusing on young people from diverse backgrounds, each with their unique set of challenges. The goal is to involve them actively in ESC projects.
Educational Approach: Rooted in non-formal education principles, the course employs a rich array of experiential learning methods.
Participants will engage in a collaborative learning environment, empowering one another to elevate the quality of projects aimed at encouraging the participation of young people with fewer opportunities.
Capacity: This Training Course is tailored for 25 participants from countries within the European Solidarity Corps Programme framework.
Timeline: The journey begins on May 20th, with the departure scheduled for May 24th, 2024.
