Description
This European Solidarity Corps team volunteering project aims to create a vibrant, sustainable space that blends nature, education, and innovation.
It provides both volunteers and the local community with opportunities to actively engage in environmental preservation and enhancement.
The primary goal is to build on the previous volunteers’ work, completing the development of a mixed forest polygon, botanical garden, and greenhouse, while integrating innovative technologies that support sustainable agriculture.
This project promotes environmental awareness, encourages practical learning, and fosters cross-cultural exchange among young volunteers from across Europe. A key objective is to improve the local environment and increase public awareness of biodiversity and sustainable agriculture.
Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements
Accommodation and food for this project are funded by the EU. Participants will stay in a rural house named GREENVILLE, located near Samobor, with 2-6 person bedrooms and shared bathrooms.
Travel expenses for participants are covered according to European Solidarity Corps Programme rules and the European distance calculator guidelines.
This project fully embraces GREEN TRAVEL practices, aligning with ESC Programme priorities for 2021-2027.
