Immersive Outdoor Training in Germany | Fully Funded by Erasmus+
From October 19 to 27, 2025, 27 youth volunteers from Erasmus+ Programme countries will come together in the stunning natural landscapes of Swiss Saxony, Germany, for a hands-on international training experience.
Hosted by lernlabor and co-financed by the European Union through Erasmus+, this program invites participants to explore the full spectrum of outdoor learning—from planning to real-world practice.
🌿 About the Experience
Nestled in the sandstone cliffs and forested trails of Swiss Saxony, the training takes place at Auf dem Kulm in Weißig—a base designed for deep, experiential learning in nature. Throughout the week, participants will gain practical expedition skills such as:
Designing and managing multi-day outdoor journeys
Conducting risk assessments and ensuring group safety
Navigating terrain and coordinating logistics
Facilitating group processes in outdoor settings
Applying first aid in wilderness environments
The program blends guided treks, technical sessions, mindfulness practices, and reflective activities. It culminates in a two-night expedition where participants take full leadership—handling route planning, weather conditions, and team dynamics in real time.
