The European Commission’s Digital Education Action Plan, adopted in 2020, focuses on two main strategic priorities: creating a high-performance digital education ecosystem and enhancing digital skills and competences for digital transformation.
The Erasmus+ Programme is crucial in implementing this strategy, supporting the digital transition through various activities, including mobility, cooperation between organizations and institutions, and policy development.
Therefore, it is vital for the Programme’s main target groups to fully understand how to work on this priority at both project and organizational levels, utilizing the extensive resources developed at the European level to aid them in contributing to the digital transition.
Additionally, the seminar aims to shift participants’ perspectives on the Programme’s priorities: viewing them not as isolated themes but as interconnected paths to be addressed with a comprehensive strategy.
It will emphasize how effective investment in digital transition can yield significant benefits in inclusive education, green transition, and democratic participation.
Expected outcomes:
Participants will:
Gain a deeper understanding of digital transformation and its link to other Erasmus+ priorities.
Receive insights from experts and practitioners on key topics related to digital transformation in education (e.g., digital pedagogy, digital inclusion, the impact of disruptive technologies like artificial intelligence).
Learn how to develop effective project proposals focused on digital transformation.
Share best practices and experiences with peers and experts.
