Portugal , Faro : Short Term Summer Project

This initiative gathers volunteers from across Europe to spend time in Faro, embracing a new lifestyle and cultural environment. Participants will join projects led by the host organization, focusing on social and educational engagement with young people through creative approaches such as arts, theatre, sports, games, and pedagogy.

Volunteers are also encouraged to design and carry out their own ideas. The host association, Sê Mais Sê Melhor (Be More, Be Better), operates from an office near Faro’s city center within the IPDJ Regional Direction of Algarve, alongside other youth groups. Facilities include youth offices, computer stations, social areas, and spaces dedicated to arts and sports.

🏡 Living, Food & Transport

• Volunteers will share a furnished apartment in Olhão, about 10 km from the workplace, with individual rooms.
  
• A monthly food allowance is provided, covering meals even during holidays.
  
• Local transport options (bus/train) are available for commuting.
  
• Pocket money is transferred monthly via bank, in line with ESC program guidelines.
