Activity Summary
Embark on a 29-day volunteer journey with 12 young EU citizens/residents, engaging in our NGO’s summer initiatives:
– Enhance forest trails and manage waste; refurbish and revitalize various structures; aid in the upkeep of the EFM premises, including the building, office, and garden, while also supporting our efforts to assist Ukrainian refugees; contribute to EFM’s local and regional projects throughout the season, along with routine office tasks, and collaborate with our community partners.
Additionally, volunteers will assist in crafting content for EFM’s social media platforms to highlight significant issues.
Living Arrangements, Meals, and Transportation
Volunteers will reside in EFM’s abode, nestled in the quaint village of Długopole Górne (a brief 15-minute journey from Bystrzyca Kłodzka).
The dwelling is conveniently located a mere minute from a bus stop and a 20-minute stroll to the nearest train station. Bicycles are available for use.
Accommodations include shared living spaces, communal restrooms, and a spacious, fully-equipped kitchen. Amenities such as washing machines, dishwashers, and internet access are provided.
The exterior features a garden and a compact area for football and basketball. EFM will bear the transportation expenses related to the project.
Moreover, volunteers will receive funds for food and a weekly stipend. Note: EFM is currently housing Ukrainian refugees within the same premises.
Training During Your Stay
Volunteers will partake in an introductory training session in the project’s initial week, orchestrated by the EFM team. Additional training will be tailored to the volunteer’s creative ideas and requirements.
Should a volunteer need specialized support to realize a concept within the project’s scope, efforts will be made to facilitate the necessary training.
Each volunteer will receive consistent guidance from an assigned mentor. At EFM, volunteers gain practical experience alongside the organization’s staff.
