ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our ESC Volunteering Teams for the organization of the Kozani Youth Fest 2024.
This festival celebrates culture, youth empowerment, and European solidarity, providing a dynamic platform for creativity, intercultural dialogue, and active citizenship.
Through your participation, you will gain valuable experience in event management, teamwork, and community engagement, contributing to the success of the festival while enhancing your leadership and cross-cultural communication skills.
We eagerly anticipate your innovative ideas and dedication to create an unforgettable experience for all participants.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD, AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
The project will take place at hotel “Elimeia 3” in Eani, Kozani, Greece. Participants will be accommodated in double/triple rooms with bathrooms (towels included), and all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be provided.
Aiani, where the hotel is located, is a quaint historical town in Kozani Regional Unit, Greece, known for its picturesque mountainous landscape near Polyfytos Lake. Each volunteer will receive 120 EUR (4 EUR per day) as support from GO Alive via bank transfer to cover daily transportation and miscellaneous expenses.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
Volunteers will be divided into three sub-teams:
A-Youth Fest Volunteers (Activities): Responsible for ensuring the quality and coordination of festival activities.
P-Youth Fest Volunteers (Promoters): Focus on promoting the festival through various channels.
R-Youth Fest Volunteers (Runners): Assist with logistical support and venue preparations.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
We are looking for 20 motivated volunteers aged 18-30, with a balanced gender distribution, and a minimum English level of B1.
Volunteers should be inspired by the ethics of the ESC program, passionate about youth empowerment and cultural exchange, and ready to embrace new challenges.
Participation is open to individuals from all EU countries, non-EU program countries (Iceland, North Macedonia, Turkey, Liechtenstein), and neighboring partner countries.
