This international Erasmus+ training course is designed to provide participants with movement-based learning tools that foster wellbeing, inclusion, and active participation among young people.
Through playful activities, improvisation, and rhythm, participants will gain new competences and practical methods to enrich their youth work.
The program explores dance and movement as powerful instruments for self-awareness, connection, and social reflection.
Rooted in the idea that the body reflects both the inner self and the external world, the course examines the dialogue between body and mind, and how movement can become a conscious, empowering act.
🎯 Purpose of the Training
The course aims to help young people reconnect with their bodies in response to challenges such as information overload, fast-paced urban living, and reduced contact with nature.
Movement will be introduced as an accessible, playful practice and as a gentle way to question habitual patterns and imposed rhythms.
Drawing inspiration from contemporary dance, the training will use play, improvisation, and rhythm to go beyond everyday movement routines and explore new physical and emotional relationships.
Both indoor and outdoor spaces will be engaged as active partners in the learning process.
In the second phase, participants will reflect on their experiences and design additional tools that can be transformed into methodologies, enabling them to integrate these practices into their own youth work contexts.
