In late spring 2026, a two‑week ESC volunteering project in Greece will welcome 12 young people to immerse themselves in sustainability and inclusion through creative, hands‑on experiences.
The program centers on crafting workshops that transform recycled and eco‑friendly materials into artistic outputs, encouraging mindful consumption and ecological awareness.
By working together across cultures, participants will engage in non‑formal learning, collaborative creation, and community‑oriented initiatives. The project is designed to nurture empathy, teamwork, and active citizenship, while inspiring young people to take responsibility for both social and environmental challenges.
🏡 Accommodation, Meals & Transport
- Housing, food, and local transport are fully provided.
- Volunteers will share 2–3 houses (each with 3 rooms), with room arrangements based on preferences such as gender.
- A daily allowance for meals will be transferred to participants, along with €7 per day as pocket money.
- Travel to Thessaloniki (e.g., flights) is initially covered by participants and reimbursed by CUBE after the activity, once all required documents are submitted.
- Local transport passes (bus/metro) will be provided for commuting to CUBE’s office.
🎓 Training & Learning Experience
Throughout the project, participants will receive continuous guidance through non‑formal education methods:
Interactive workshops and group activities
Practical sessions on sustainability, inclusion, and creative practices
Team‑building exercises and intercultural learning opportunities
Skill development in eco‑friendly crafting, communication, and collaboration
Ongoing support from facilitators to ensure meaningful learning outcomes
