The seminar aims to help participants build an international network for future collaborations using funding from the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs.
It will include two digital events and an in-person seminar in Pärnu, Estonia, from November 4 to 8, 2024.
The first online pre-event will take place on October 17, 2024, at 14:00 CET, lasting 90 minutes. This session will introduce the seminar and provide a platform for participants to get to know each other.
The second online event is scheduled for mid-January 2025. This session will guide participants through the submission process of online Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps application forms and support them in finalizing their applications.
The seminar’s goal is to:
Promote collaboration and capacity building among LEADER Local Action Groups (LAGs) and other rural development actors to effectively involve rural youth in Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps program initiatives.
Objectives:
Inspire and motivate participants to launch actions for rural youth engagement and empowerment using Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs.
Identify synergies between the LEADER approach and Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs, and highlight existing opportunities for international collaboration.
Provide a space to conceptualize, analyze, and share experiences and best practices in youth engagement.
Encourage networking and the development of future project ideas within the framework of European programs.
