Program Goals:
Deepen comprehension of fundamental peacebuilding concepts, including peace, violence, conflict, peace education, and the art of constructing peace.
Acquaint participants with discerning conflict from violence and employing nonviolent tactics and methodologies.
Enhance skills in internal peace practices such as mindfulness and wellbeing, pivotal to peacebuilding endeavors.
Explore in-depth the practices of nonviolent communication, active listening, understanding conflict dynamics and behaviors, and conflict analysis.
Highlight the importance of mediation, reconciliation, and dialogue as integral elements of peacebuilding.
Aid in organizing a minimum of 5 subsequent activities at the community level.

Amidst escalating armed conflicts and rising political tensions and violence across Europe, nurturing the next generation of peacebuilders is of paramount importance.
Peace education plays a vital role in fostering tranquility and stability within Europe. This underscores the necessity for training in delicate peacebuilding techniques and empowering individuals to become community leaders who advocate for harmonious living.
