ReGreen will gather 10 young participants for a 21-day educational, practical, and social journey at Suderbyn Permaculture Ecovillage.
Suderbyn hosts an international community committed to environmental care, living by permaculture principles and voluntary simplicity.
During the program, working days will combine theory and practice, giving volunteers the chance to apply what they learn directly. The aim is for participants to gain skills and insights they can carry into their everyday lives after the project.
Project Focus Areas
Infrastructure improvements: This year’s priority is enhancing outdoor spaces. Work will include upgrading the fire pit area and possibly building a sauna, all guided by permaculture principles and sustainable methods in harmony with nature.
Permaculture: Volunteers will explore design principles and see how they are applied in the community’s organic garden. Tasks such as foraging, processing, forest-garden care, weeding, and harvesting will help participants connect more deeply with the soil, ecosystem, and the food it provides.
Personal and group development: Activities will also involve social learning and collaboration with the community’s NGO, RELEARN.
