📌 Description
This volunteer project aims to raise awareness among young people and local communities about nature and the environment, encouraging individuals to reconsider their relationship with the natural world.
The initiative focuses on habitat management, strengthening respect for the environment, expanding knowledge about biodiversity, recycling, and conservation practices.
Participants will gain valuable personal and professional skills, including entrepreneurship, organisational abilities, environmental knowledge, and communication competences.
Volunteers will engage in activities designed to protect and rediscover nature, working collectively towards shared goals. By promoting the European Green Deal within local communities and through small but meaningful actions, the project seeks to reshape how people interact with their environment.
Planned activities include coastal clean-ups, clearing flooded areas, artistic rehabilitation of fire-damaged forests (such as tree painting), and cleaning and signposting of Green Paths.
🏡 Accommodation, Food & Transport
Volunteers will be accommodated in apartments with single or double rooms, bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, heating, Wi-Fi, and all necessary facilities for a comfortable stay.
Travel, accommodation, and meals are provided free of charge. Each volunteer will also receive a fixed allowance for daily expenses and pocket money, in line with European Solidarity Corps regulations.
🎓 Training During the Activity
Volunteers will be supported by a team of qualified technicians to design non-formal education activities and enhance their skills in creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Workshops will cover topics such as environmental awareness and eco-literacy, helping young people become more active citizens while gaining a deeper understanding of cultural and European diversity. Inclusion will be promoted as a key element of participatory democracy.
