“Hey Christmas Carol 6!” Project: Celebrating International Traditions
In the “Hey Christmas Carol 6!” project, volunteers will immerse themselves in the festive spirit by preparing international Christmas carols and presentations about holiday traditions from their respective countries.
The project encompasses various workshops, including art and craft, music, theatre, personal development, and culinary exploration.
Volunteer Activities: Spreading Joy
Volunteers will sing and play Christmas carols from different countries during pre-Christmas gatherings.
These heartwarming events will take place with kids, teenagers, people with disabilities, and seniors in various locations across Bydgoszcz, including the official Christmas Market.
The project aims to foster an exchange of Christmas traditions and cultures, transcending religious beliefs.
Logistics and Accommodation
Boarding Money: Volunteers will receive 20 PLN/day for food and cleaning expenses.
Pocket Money: Each volunteer will receive 6 EUR/day.
Local Transport: Covered transportation cards for day and night buses and trams.
Accommodation: Volunteers will stay in the most suitable place for this Christmas Team Volunteering ESC project (either a hostel or dormitory).
Training and Support
Volunteers will participate in a departure meeting and attend Christmas workshops covering art, music, theatre, and culinary skills.
Additionally, they’ll receive information about ESC Projects, complete the Youthpass Certificate, learn time management, and enhance their interpersonal communication. Weekly Polish language lessons will also be provided.
Participant Profile
Looking for creative individuals who are eager to share their Christmas traditions and learn carols from diverse countries.
While musical skills (playing instruments or singing) are a plus, they are not mandatory.
Volunteers should have an open-minded, positive attitude and a love for international, intercultural, and festive experiences. Proficiency in English (at least basic communicative level) is essential
