Description Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s lives?
The Caritas program of the Kaunas Archdiocese “Child Welfare Institute” (VGI) is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our mission. Since 2016, our program has been dedicated to helping children grow up happily in families, supporting adoptive and guardian families, and creating a space for communication and understanding.
We believe in fostering sustainable values that can be shared with all members of society.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
Working with children, providing care and support
Participating in group meetings and events
Meeting with a mentor for guidance and support
Engaging in on-arrival and mid-term trainings
Online language learning
Participating in public solidarity events
Organizing informational and promotional solidarity events
Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements
Volunteers will receive free accommodation during their stay, including a private room in a shared apartment.
They will be provided with a monthly ticket for public transportation and will receive monthly food and pocket money (approximately 250 euros per month). If necessary, additional support for food products can be provided.

Looking for volunteers who are open-minded and empathetic, passionate about working with children, committed to protecting children’s rights, and dedicated to helping children become more independent and confident.
