ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
We’re seeking a Volunteering Team to join us for 24 days in Kozani & Katerini, located in Western and Central Macedonia, northern Greece, to organize the K Youth Fest 2025!
The festival will take place in Kozani from May 7-10, 2025 (4 days) and in Kateríni from May 16-17, 2025 (2 days). Volunteers for the K Youth Fest 2025 will be divided into 5 distinct sub-teams based on their tasks:
I-team: Information Team – Greets guests at the reception, provides information, and manages help desks
A-team: Activities Team – Supports facilitators, prepares materials, and assists in interactive sessions
T-team: Technical Support Team – Manages sound, lighting, and troubleshooting technical needs
C-team: Communication Team – Manages social media, photography, videography, and live updates
L-team: Logistics Team – Sets up and decorates spaces, organizes materials, and ensures the functionality of the venue
Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements
For detailed information, please check the Infopack: Infopack. For the first part of the project, volunteers will stay at Hotel “Elimeia 3” in Eani, approximately 25 minutes from Kozani.
Volunteers will stay in Eani for 20 days, from Friday, April 25, 2025, to Thursday, May 15, 2025.
They will travel to Kozani using local buses as needed (about 5-6 times in total).
On Thursday, May 15, 2025, volunteers will be transferred to Katerini, where they will stay for the remaining 5 days until Tuesday, May 20, 2025. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided by the organizers.
Training During the Activity
Throughout the volunteering experience, participants will have the opportunity to attend various training sessions designed to enhance their skills, knowledge, and understanding of their tasks.
These sessions will cover topics relevant to the project, such as youth work, community engagement, and specific event-related tasks. Participants are encouraged to actively engage in these sessions for their personal and professional development.
Participant Profile
Our ideal volunteer:
18 participants aged 18-30 years old
From all EU countries, non-EU program countries, and partner countries neighboring the EU, INCLUDING Greek participants
Gender balance is important
Minimum level of English: B1
Motivated and inspired by the ESC program ethics
Passionate about youth empowerment and cultural exchange
Open-minded, adaptable, and ready to embrace new experiences
