Opportunity Overview
As a volunteer with Energie Sociali, you will contribute to initiatives that strengthen social inclusion and community life, supporting events that bring together families, citizens, and local networks.
At Baleno, a dynamic community centre, you will engage in socio-educational activities, creative workshops, and collaborative projects with young people and residents.
At Link, a youth space dedicated to empowerment and active citizenship, you will assist in organising workshops and events, while connecting with young people interested in European mobility opportunities.
🏡 Accommodation, Food and Transport
All housing costs during the project will be covered by Oriel.
Volunteers will live in a shared apartment located near the Centro Culturale and within walking distance of the city centre.
Each participant will receive pocket money and food allowance, amounting to €350 per month, sufficient to cover everyday expenses such as food, household needs, and personal costs.
Travel expenses are reimbursed under the rules of the European Solidarity Corps, with reimbursement processed after travel. Distances are calculated using the official Erasmus+ distance calculator.
🎓 Training and Support
The hosting organisation will provide continuous guidance throughout the ESC experience. Upon arrival, volunteers will attend a welcome and orientation session, followed by ongoing mentorship during their stay.
They will also participate in the official ESC training cycle, including on-arrival training and a mid-term evaluation coordinated by the Italian National Agency.
Additionally, when the organisation hosts international projects, volunteers may have the opportunity to join and contribute.
👥 Participant Profile
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Male, aged between 18 and 30
Strong interest in youth work, participation, and international cooperation
Open-minded, adaptable, flexible, and eager to engage with diverse communities
Good command of English (other languages are an advantage)
Basic knowledge of Italian is considered a plus
Ability to ride a bicycle is required
