🏠 Living Conditions & Financial Support
Working languages: English and Italian
Local language: Italian
Monthly allowance: €350 pocket money
Travel reimbursement: Up to €309 for standard travel; up to €417 for eco-friendly travel (no flights)
Visa support: Covered up to €100
Volunteers will be housed in a shared apartment located within “La Città dell’Utopia,” a historic community space in Rome.
The flat includes three shared double bedrooms (accommodating up to six international volunteers), a communal kitchen, living room, and bathroom.
Basic amenities such as Wi-Fi and a washing machine are provided. While the accommodation is simple, it offers a unique experience in a vibrant activist setting.
📚 Learning & Work Structure
Volunteers will engage in activities for 6 hours per day, five days a week, with two consecutive days off weekly and two vacation days per month.
Occasionally, activities may be scheduled on weekends to accommodate broader participation. In such cases, working hours will be adjusted to ensure a maximum of 35 hours per week.

👤 Ideal Volunteer Profile
We’re looking for motivated individuals who:
Have a strong command of English (Italian is a plus)
Are team-oriented and communicative
Are enthusiastic about working with SCI Italia’s network of activists
Possess interpersonal and educational skills to engage with diverse communities
Are comfortable using digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, email, internet)
Show initiative, responsibility, and adaptability
Have organizational and administrative capabilities
Are flexible with working hours, especially during peak months (May–July)
Can adjust to modest living conditions in a multicultural environment
