Description
Comunità Progetto Sud (CPS) Association is seeking one new volunteer for a short-term opportunity (2 months) in Lamezia Terme, Southern Italy.
The volunteer will work at the “Luna Rossa” center, which cares for unaccompanied foreign minors. The volunteer will be involved in daily activities at the center and work closely with the minors.
Therefore, they must be open-minded, friendly, and ready to engage. The volunteer will also participate in cultural and social activities promoted by CPS, as well as events organized by other organizations in the city.

Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements
The volunteer will work 5 days per week, up to 35 hours.
They will live with another European volunteer in a comfortable house 2 km from Lamezia Terme city center. The flat includes all necessary amenities and a small garden.
Volunteers will have their own room but will share common areas like the kitchen and bathroom. The volunteer will receive 5€/day pocket money and a food allowance. Meals during activities can be shared with employees.
Training During the Activity
Training includes Welcome Training, Youthpass Training Cycle, Mid-Term Evaluation, and Final Evaluation, conducted by the Scuola del Sociale Department at CPS. On-Arrival Training will be provided by the Italian National Agency.

Motivated to contribute to social inclusion activities and European cultural exchange. Flexible and open to new environments, cultures, and challenges.
Willing to learn and grow both personally and professionally, and able to work in teams. Empathetic towards people in vulnerable situations and sensitive to issues such as rights and peaceful coexistence.
Responsible and reliable, with an openness to sharing and transmitting their own values and culture. An interest in studying or working in the non-profit sector is appreciated.
