Activity Description
As a volunteer, you’ll be an integral part of the Training Institute of the French Red Cross in Toulouse.
Your mission involves promoting international mobility among Red Cross students through various events (such as Erasmus Days) and creating engaging promotional content (including written and video testimonials, local guides for international students, and more). Additionally, you’ll organize English conversation workshops.
For two days each week, you’ll collaborate with the Local Unit of the French Red Cross in Toulouse, participating in diverse social actions.
Your tasks will include welcoming and listening to Red Cross beneficiaries during solidarity activities that foster social connections.
These activities may involve convivial snack moments and food aid distribution. Feel free to propose ideas for creating a warm reception area that promotes conviviality. Furthermore, you’ll contribute to digital inclusion by conducting dedicated workshops.
Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements
As a volunteer, you’ll enjoy your own studio apartment in a student residence, complete with free access to a gym.
You’ll receive pocket money and funds for purchasing food. Additionally, a public transportation card will be provided to facilitate your mobility.
Training During the Activity
During your placement, you’ll have the opportunity to attend French lessons (conducted in groups, up to level B2) at the Local Unit of the French Red Cross in Toulouse.
Upon completing the course, you can take the DELF French language certification test. Furthermore, you’ll receive Level 1 Civil Protection and First Aid training (PSC1).
