EYCA Rural Youth Camp Overview:
The EYCA Rural Youth Camp is a unique international gathering designed to unite 50 young individuals from rural regions across Europe.
Participants will delve into rural initiatives from diverse regions, exchanging strategies to invigorate their communities while fostering connections with fellow rural youth across Europe.
The primary objective of the Rural Youth Camp is to brainstorm innovative approaches to leverage rural opportunities and engage with young people effectively.
Challenges and opportunities identified during the camp will be compiled into a roadmap to inform local authorities and organizations, aiming to enhance the lives of rural youth across the continent.
What to Expect at the Rural Youth Camp:
An immersive experience where participants can connect with like-minded individuals against the scenic backdrop of rural Spain.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Age: 18-26 years.
- Residency: EU member countries or countries with EYCA member organizations.
- Language: Basic English proficiency.
- Background: Individuals with rural roots, facing challenges in areas like housing, education, employment, and access to cultural activities.
- Motivation: Enthusiastic individuals keen on sharing experiences and contributing to rural youth issues.
Practical Information and Benefits:
Participation is free of charge.
All expenses related to participation and travel are covered by EYCA.
Accommodation provided in shared rooms at the Albergue Inturjoven Cazorla youth hostel.
Explore Cazorla’s natural wonders and the historic Moorish castle, Castillo de la Yedra.
