Czech Republic , Brno : 2 Weeks Volunteering Project

We are inviting a volunteer to join our summer day camps (children return home at night and attend activities during the day). The camps welcome participants from preschool age up to 18, organized into different age groups and themes such as art, sports, and theatre.

The average workload is around 30 hours per week, but during camp weeks the rhythm alternates: one week of full-time engagement (usually 8:00–17:00), followed by a lighter week.

Those shortlisted will be invited to a video interview. A good level of spoken English is required, as there are 8 other ESC volunteers working across different placements throughout the year. Please note: only applicants who do not require a visa can be accepted.

Accommodation, Food & Transport

• Time off: Volunteers have 2 free days each week plus 2 vacation days per month. If weekend work is needed, compensatory days off are given during the week.
• Allowances: Pocket money and food allowance are provided monthly at the start of each month. Volunteers also receive a Brno public transport card.
• Housing: Accommodation is in rented apartments outside the city center. Rooms may be shared by two volunteers.

Training & Learning Opportunities

• Volunteers will take part in official on-arrival training organized by the Czech National Agency (if scheduled during the period).
• Pre-departure training in the volunteer’s home country or supporting organization is also expected.
• Each summer camp itself will be a rich learning experience.
