GO Alive NGO is excited to host the European Solidarity Corps Volunteering Teams Project in Eani, Kozani, and Katerini, Greece!
🎉 Your Role
As a member of the ESC Volunteering Teams, you will take an active part in organizing the Kozani – Katerini K Youth Fest 2026.
This festival is a lively celebration of culture, youth empowerment, and European solidarity. It serves as a creative platform that encourages intercultural dialogue and highlights active citizenship — your contribution will be essential to its success.
📅 Program Timeline
Arrival: Thursday, April 30, 2026
Working Days: May 1–15, 2026
Departure: Saturday, May 16, 2026
In total: 15 working days + 2 travel days (including 4 free days with optional trips).
🌟 Benefits & Learning Outcomes
Throughout the festival, you will gain practical experience in event organization, teamwork, and community involvement.
You will also strengthen your skills in leadership, project planning, and intercultural communication, while contributing fresh ideas to create a memorable experience for everyone.
💶 Financial Support
Each volunteer will receive 119 EUR (7 EUR per day) as pocket money via bank transfer to cover local transport, snacks, and minor personal expenses.
Accommodation and meals are provided by the host organization, and travel expenses will be reimbursed.
🛡️ Support & Emergency Protocols
A strong support system, including mentors and insurance coverage, will be available.
In case of emergencies (such as health issues), participants must follow the established procedures to receive immediate assistance.

Volunteers are expected to:
Clearly communicate their needs and expectations before arrival.
Take responsibility for their own well-being and ask for support when necessary.
Approach the program with realistic expectations, understanding that the overall experience depends largely on their attitude and active participation.
🤝 Cultural Adaptation & Teamwork
You will be part of a multicultural team, which requires respect, flexibility, and cooperation.
Adapting to new cultural norms and maintaining open communication with both the organization and fellow volunteers are key to ensuring a positive and enriching experience.
👥 Eligibility
- Young people aged 18–30
- Legally residing in EU Member States, partner countries, or non-associated countries
- Registered on the European Solidarity Corps portal
