Regeneration Rural CAMP is a two‑week volunteer journey inviting participants to step away from routine, slow down, and immerse themselves in the rhythms of rural life. The program unfolds in São Luís, a lively village within the municipality of Odemira.
Here, nature, community, and both traditional and contemporary ways of living intertwine, offering a glimpse into a regenerative rural future.
A Community of Learners
We don’t claim to have ready‑made solutions for regenerating a territory. What we bring is curiosity, a spirit of experimentation, and a genuine intention to care. Together with the people who already live here and nurture this land, we learn through practice and shared experience.
You will gain knowledge by doing, collaborate with local residents, and become part of an ecosystem that is collectively revitalizing its environment through simple and practical actions.
What Awaits You
For two weeks, 21 young participants (aged 18–30) will live together in São Luís — a village where tradition meets creativity, culture blends with ecology, and innovation grows from community roots.
Everyone will contribute, share, and learn as part of a living community connected to the territory and its people.
