Description:
VolunTACC-International Mobility involves one volunteer to support TACC’s International department in designing and planning new initiatives that promote online international mobility opportunities.
The volunteer will create tangible materials through visual arts (including audiovisuals and graphic design) and conduct advisories aimed at young people aged 12-30 in various youth centers and fairs.
The focus will be on promoting the ESC and Erasmus+ programs, fostering social inclusion, solidarity, voluntary service, and European intercultural respect through intercultural experiences and informal/non-formal education.
The volunteer will work from TACC’s office in Barcelona and participate in local events, covering them with photography and audiovisuals.
Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements:
Accommodation: The volunteer will live in a shared apartment in Barcelona, with a private room and common areas shared with other young people.
Food: The volunteer will receive €5.33/day for meals.
Pocket Money: A daily pocket money of €5 will be provided.
Travel Costs: International travel expenses will be covered from the project budget based on the distance calculator.
Local Transport: The volunteer will receive monthly “local transport money.”
Insurance: The volunteer will be covered by EHIC and HENNER insurance.
Training During the Activity:
The volunteer will participate in on-arrival training and mid-term evaluation provided by the National Agency in Spain.
Additionally, they will be registered on the OLS for an online Spanish language course. The volunteer can engage in conversational Spanish workshops and Catalan language training organized by TACC or other local associations/institutions.
They will also receive training in communication techniques to promote international mobility opportunities as a tool for social transformation among youth.
Participant Profile: Looking for an open-minded, creative, and imaginative individual with initiative and strong communication skills.
Familiarity with visual arts, audiovisuals, graphic design, photography, and video editing is essential.
Sensitivity to working with young people facing fewer opportunities and a willingness to learn about the workings of a youthful and artistic organization are important. Proficiency in English and basic Spanish communication is required.
