“Drive On: Volunteering Earth’s Oasis” is a project under the European Solidarity Corps initiative, designed to engage a dozen young individuals in volunteer work.
The project’s goal is to offer these youths a distinctive platform for non-formal and informal learning, thereby bolstering their professional abilities and competencies.
The planned activities aim to furnish the participants with hands-on team collaboration experience, problem-solving skills through various methodologies, and an expanded understanding of how to effectively utilize leisure time for youth empowerment.
Additionally, the project seeks to enhance their linguistic capabilities and inspire them to set an example of exemplary practices within their communities, motivating others to partake in active volunteerism.
The project is scheduled to run from June 1, 2024, to June 15, 2024, with an additional two days allocated for travel.
Living Arrangements and Logistics Lodging:
We have arranged accommodations for our Camp DOVE’S volunteers. The host organization will cover the costs associated with your stay. Meals: The host organization will provide three meals daily.
Allowance: Volunteers will receive pocket money from the organization. For further details, please refer to our information pack available at our website.
We invite young adults aged 18 to 30 to apply. Our ideal volunteers are energetic, imaginative, friendly, patient, team-oriented, adaptable, and innovative.
We’re eager to welcome individuals with unique hobbies, personal initiatives, and a receptiveness to diverse cultures.
We also value volunteers with a penchant for social media and graphic design, including video and photo editing skills.
Above all, we appreciate a robust enthusiasm, a readiness to embrace novel experiences, and a curiosity about the world and its myriad cultures.
