ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
ON&OFF, a charitable entity championing rural progress, ecological sustainability, the arts, and social inclusivity through theatre, extends an invitation for a transformative 1.5-month sojourn in Camprovín (La Rioja).
We are on the lookout for 10 spirited volunteers eager to craft a culturally vibrant summer through artistic workshops, creative interventions, and festive events.
This season’s highlights include contributing to Camprovinarte, our esteemed street art festival that magnetizes visual artists globally, and partaking in the cherished local celebrations of Camprovín.
Additionally, you’ll have the chance to partner with the Town Hall in curating a tapestry of cultural and recreational pursuits. In line with our commitment to inclusivity, this initiative will integrate at least two volunteers with mental disabilities.
We invite participants who are empathetic and uphold our ethos of embracing diverse capabilities. Embark on a memorable summer adventure in La Rioja, where creativity, inclusivity, and transformative change converge!
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD, AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
Your new home will be Camprovín, an enchanting hamlet inhabited by 182 souls, offering a robust sense of community, breathtaking vistas, and abundant outdoor escapades.
Yet, it’s a secluded haven: devoid of regular storefronts, but serviced by a coterie of mobile merchants visiting intermittently.
Your abode will be a communal apartment, boasting a well-appointed kitchen and common area, shared bedrooms, and an expansive garden.
An on-call bus service and a shared vehicle collective are available. Each volunteer receives a monthly stipend. Nutritious provisions are supplied by us and will be prepared collaboratively in rotating culinary squads.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
Our volunteers will receive comprehensive training to equip them for the necessary roles.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
We seek broad-minded individuals with a zest for the arts, culture, and theatre. Ideally, you’ll bring a repertoire of artistic experience and digital prowess, including recording, photo and video editing, and graphic design for crafting promotional materials.
As revitalizing rural locales is a core mission, your support in this endeavor and your willingness to embrace the rustic lifestyle, with all its charms and challenges, are essential.
Our volunteers should embody the principles of equality and honor diversity in all its manifestations. While proficiency in Spanish isn’t mandatory, please note that a significant portion of our activities will unfold in Spanish.
