Activity Overview:
This summer, international volunteers will have the opportunity to partake in our foundation’s Summer Camps initiative.
These camps are dedicated to enriching children’s lives through a variety of half-day activities, including creative handcraft workshops, dynamic sports, and culturally enriching events.
Volunteers will be responsible for crafting workshops that resonate with their own unique abilities and interests, all conducted in the universal language of English.
They will also be tasked with developing cultural presentations, organizing sports events, and advocating for a healthy lifestyle. In addition to these roles, volunteers will play a pivotal part in nurturing cultural appreciation and heritage through interactive games and creative arts.
Collaborating closely with seasoned volunteers and coordinators, they will bring to life a festival celebrating music and crafts, aimed at the youth.
This festival will serve as a platform to honor our diverse backgrounds and the shared objectives of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). Moreover, volunteers will gain valuable experience working in a multicultural office environment, joining a team that boasts over seven nationalities.
Living Arrangements and Logistics:
Monetary stipend in accordance with the ESC Guide (2023).
A budget for food and household necessities.
Comprehensive Henner health insurance coverage.
Shared living quarters with fellow volunteers, including communal areas and facilities.
Access to the foundation’s bicycles for transportation.
Compensation or coverage for local travel expenses incurred during work-related activities.
Reimbursement for travel expenses as outlined in the ESC Guide, with an emphasis on eco-friendly travel options that allow for extended travel time and a more generous travel budget.
Training and Development:
The project kicks off with an ‘Adaptation Week,’ designed to ease participants into their new roles. This week is an invaluable chance to work alongside an international team, with English as the lingua franca, complemented by an introduction to the Polish language.
Participants will cultivate their multilingual communication skills, a vital asset for their future endeavors.
Upon successful completion of the program, they will be awarded a Youth Pass / ESC Volunteer Diploma, a testament to their commitment and growth.
