Erasmus+ Training Course
Serbia , Belgrad : 3 Days Erasmus+ Seminar

Serbia , Belgrad : 3 Days Erasmus+ Seminar

The primary objective of the seminar is to enhance participants’ comprehension of mental health and well-being concepts, as well as the needs, activities, and approaches that can support young people’s mental health.

During adolescence, young individuals encounter intricate physiological, emotional, social, and cognitive changes.

Understanding various aspects of adolescent development and mental health equips these professionals with insights into young people’s developmental stages, common reactions, challenges, and effective support strategies.

Designed to enhance the competencies of professionals working with young individuals in formal and informal settings, the seminar spans 2.5 days and delves into the mental health of young people.

Enhancing understanding of mental health and well-being concepts.

Deepening knowledge about different aspects and phases of young people’s development, their typical reactions, and encountered challenges.

Introducing practical tools and methods applicable in youth work.

Reassessing the roles of educators and youth workers in promoting young people’s mental health.

Familiarizing participants with existing best practices and common challenges.

Expanding the network of potential partners in the mental health field.

Achieving these objectives entails engaging participants in interactive workshops, experiential learning, presentations, and open discussions.

It’s important to note that this seminar is designed to provide basic knowledge and skills, catering to participants who are not experts or seasoned practitioners in mental health.

Additionally, the training does not cover diagnosing, intervening in, or treating mental health issues.

Organized as part of the Mental Health in Youth Work SNAC project, this training is a collaborative effort of the National Agencies for Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps.
