ESC Project - Short Term

Poland , Leszno : 4 Weeks Volunteering Project

Description:

This project aims to promote volunteerism, NGO activities, social economy entities, and institutions in Leszno, including schools and socially responsible companies.

 

It supports the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) initiatives and hosts workshops on creativity, DIY projects, and handcrafts for youth clubs.

 

Volunteers will assist in preparing the European Week Project, featuring a festival and activities for children, adolescents, and seniors.

They will also deliver cultural presentations, engage with students in schools and high schools, and participate in youth camps.

 

The activities include language games, cultural exchanges, and workshops on tradition, sports, and arts. Working with a diverse, multinational team, participants will share and promote their cultures. Join us!

Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements:

Pocket money according to the ESC Guide

Food allowance and cleaning supplies

Henner health coverage

Fully furnished houses, 2 to 10 minutes from the office, shared accommodation with other volunteers, common spaces, bathroom, etc.

Access to foundation bikes

 

Reimbursement or coverage for local transport used for work

Reimbursement for travel tickets as per the ESC Guide. We encourage green travel with more travel days and a higher travel limit.

Training During the Activity:

The project will start with an Adaptation Week.

 

This period will allow participants to collaborate with an international team using English as the working language and to get an introduction to the Polish language.

 

Participants will develop multilingual conversation skills. Upon completing the mobility program, participants will receive a Youth Pass / ESC Volunteer Diploma.

Participant Profile:

Participants should be team-oriented, social, and proficient in English, thriving in multicultural environments. They should be creative, proactive, and adaptable, eager to share their culture and embrace others.

 

With strong interpersonal skills, they should excel in engaging diverse groups, from children to seniors. Passionate about solidarity, they should bring enthusiasm and initiative to workshops, teamwork, and community impact.

 

Activity Dates: March 10, 2025 – April 8, 2025
