Türkiye , Muğla : Short Term Volunteering Project

Description

ESC volunteers will participate in activities for 5 days per week and have 2 days off. They will engage in approximately 35 hours of work weekly, contributing to the enrichment of the program by incorporating their own skills and knowledge.

Weekly Activities

Volunteers will be actively involved in the following tasks:

Preparing for activities,

Sharing roles and responsibilities,

Rehearsing sessions,

Attending Turkish language courses,

Conducting promotional campaigns,

Joining creativity workshops,

Participating in cultural learning nights,

Engaging in youth-focused information sessions,

Brainstorming new ideas,

Setting up work areas,

Facilitating language-related animations,

Building teamwork through structured activities,

Attending official visits,

Contributing to evaluation processes.

Accommodation, Food, and Transportation Arrangements

  • Accommodation will be provided, covering all basic needs.
  • Food will be offered for three daily meals.
  • Volunteers will receive pocket money to cover personal expenses.
  • All activity costs, local transportation, and eco-friendly international travel expenses will be funded by the project.

Training During the Activity

Volunteers will benefit from the following structured training programs:

On-Arrival Training to ensure a smooth start,

Mid-Term Evaluations for ongoing feedback and adjustments,

A Turkish Language Course to facilitate cultural integration,

Cultural Awareness Sessions to enhance understanding of local traditions.

Participant Profile

Looking for dynamic individuals aged 18 to 30 who possess the following qualities:

  • Enthusiasm for the project themes,
  • Strong motivation and the ability to easily share their knowledge,
  • Effective communication skills,
  • Prior experience in volunteering,
  • Openness to diverse perspectives,
  • A disadvantaged background, giving them a unique lens to contribute to the project.
