Türkiye , Istanbul : 2 Months Volunteering in Summer

This volunteer role invites individuals to contribute across several areas, including administrative support at the project office, assisting with social support initiatives, engaging in environmental conservation efforts, and managing social media tasks.

 

Assignments will be tailored to match each volunteer’s particular skills and interests. The commitment required is 57 days of volunteer work, not including travel time.

Living, Meals, and Transportation:

 

Volunteers will be provided with a fully furnished apartment located conveniently near a metro station and within close proximity to the city centre.

 

The residence includes Wi-Fi for personal use. Financial support is determined following the guidelines of the European Solidarity Programme, and each volunteer will also receive a bus pass to facilitate travel to the office and other key sites.

Additionally, travel expenses are reimbursed according to the distance-based rules of the European Solidarity Corps.

 

Orientation and Language Training

Upon arrival, volunteers will participate in an orientation session that features a city tour, an introduction to the organization, and visits to various local facilities such as shopping areas, hospitals, police stations, and the office of the city governor.

 

Moreover, a one-hour weekly Turkish language course will be provided. Owing to the project’s short-term duration, no further training sessions are planned.

 

Candidate Requirements

 

Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old and have an English proficiency at the B2/C1 level or higher.

 

They should reside in one of the designated countries and have some prior exposure to European Union projects—at least two are expected.

 

Strong communication and social skills are essential; candidates with previous international experience and prior involvement in drafting Erasmus or ESC projects are preferred. Familiarity with MS Office programs and basic office equipment use is also required.

Project Duration The project is scheduled for a total duration of 8 weeks, running from 01 June 2025 to 27 July 2025.
