Description:
Are you ready for an ESC volunteering adventure in Turkey? Interested in experiencing life in Gaziantep, a UNESCO City of Gastronomy? Join HASAN KALYONCU UNIVERSITY’s short-term team volunteering project for 2 months!
Volunteers will engage in activities related to sports, physical education, and community services.
Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements:
Accommodation: Volunteers will stay in a shared apartment with rooms for 2-4 people. The apartment is equipped with 24/7 hot water and heating.
Food: Volunteers will have access to kitchen facilities, including kitchenware and utensils. A food allowance will be provided in cash, allowing volunteers to purchase and cook their own meals. Each volunteer will receive €4 per day as pocket money.
Travel: Travel expenses will be reimbursed based on the project budget and mileage calculations.
Training During the Activity:
Pre-Departure Training (PDT): Conducted by supporting organizations to help volunteers identify their goals and motivations, and reflect on the learning aspects of the experience.
On-Arrival Training: Upon arrival, volunteers will receive orientation and meet with the project coordinator, supervisor, and mentor to get acquainted with the project and expectations.
Participant Profile:
Looking for young individuals aged 18-30 who:
Face cultural, geographical, or economic limitations.
Support the active participation of women, in line with positive discrimination principles.
Have knowledge and experience in the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Are proficient in English for effective communication.
Are highly motivated to volunteer, particularly in social and technology entrepreneurship, and willing to work with refugees and displaced individuals.
