Description:
Nestled in the serene forests of Värmland, Sweden, Ängsbacka is a hub for courses and festivals. We host events for those who seek a more mindful lifestyle, living from the heart and caring for our planet.
Our vision is to become a premier meeting place for sustainable human development, inspiring social, personal, and global well-being, and helping people realize their true essence beyond thoughts and concepts.
This project aims to equip participants with skills and knowledge to create and manage transformational spaces that promote harmony, well-being, and sustainability.
The ESC experience offers a communal living environment rich with learning opportunities and personal growth. Volunteers can join festivals and regular activities during their free time.
Accommodation, Food, and Transport:
Volunteers will stay in shared double rooms with communal showers, toilets, laundry, and social areas.
Pets are not allowed. Our kitchen provides delicious vegetarian and vegan meals three times a day, along with access to tea, coffee, fruits, and snacks. A separate community kitchen is available for personal cooking.
Ängsbacka is an alcohol- and drug-free environment. Public transport connects the community, and the nearby village of Molkom, 2 km away, offers amenities like a supermarket, gym, and health center.
Training During the Activity:
We offer hands-on training through practical experience. This is a volunteering opportunity, not an internship or study program, but it allows for the development of valuable skills depending on the volunteer position.
Regular after-hours workshops on self-development are available to all volunteers. ESC volunteers can also participate in our festivals after working hours. More information is available at Ängsbacka.
Looking for 8 volunteers for a period of 8 to 10 months starting March 10th, 2025.
Participant Profile: We seek highly motivated individuals ready to engage in practical work and community life. Living closely with a diverse group can be both challenging and rewarding, and we welcome those open to this experience.
Please refer to our Ängsbacka Guidelines on our website. We encourage individuals facing various challenges and fewer opportunities to join us, as we strive to create an inclusive community where everyone’s unique journey is valued, respected, and supported.
