Cyberkind seeks to deepen the awareness and understanding of 22 participants on diverse facets of cyber-violence, encompassing its origins, manifestations, impact on victims, and the role of social media in its perpetuation.
Objectives:
Conduct a five-day non-formal education training course to elevate the awareness and understanding of 22 participants on cyber-violence, covering root causes, forms, victim impact, and the role of social media.
Provide practical skills to the participants for secure and responsible online behavior, including cybersecurity, identification of phishing attempts, and managing their digital footprint.
Empower participants with knowledge and tools to effectively respond to cyber-violence, encompassing incident reporting, victim support, and utilizing digital platforms for positive advocacy.
Collaboratively develop a 2-hour workshop design focusing on cyber-violence awareness, prevention, and intervention to serve as a valuable resource for promoting safe online behavior in their communities.
Target Group:
22 participants, 18+ years old (no upper age limit).
Youth workers and volunteers engaged with young people.
Individuals interested in topics like cyberviolence, gender-based violence, domestic violence.
Participants committed to the entire duration of the youth exchange.
Medium level of English proficiency.
Open-minded and inclusive.
Dissemination Activity:
Moreover, participating organizations will share the activities, images, videos, and descriptions of the youth exchange on their social media and online communication channels, fostering a broader understanding of the project’s goals and outcomes.
