“Youth Exchanges for Youth 2” Training Overview
The “Youth Exchanges for Youth 2” initiative is designed to bolster the professional skills of youth workers and foster the sharing of exemplary practices. It aims to stimulate collaboration and drive innovation in youth work throughout Europe.
Training Focus
Participants will delve into the intricacies of project design, navigating through each phase of the project lifecycle, from ideation to the final evaluation. The curriculum encompasses critical topics such as need assessment, goal setting, impact analysis, learning facilitation, communication planning, evaluation methods, and comprehensive project management.
Expert Guidance
Experienced trainers will share valuable insights on industry best practices, alongside effective tools and methodologies to elevate your project’s caliber. The goal is to arm you with the competencies necessary to conceive, implement, manage, and rationalize projects that adhere to the high-quality benchmarks set by the KA1 of the Erasmus+ program.
Training Objectives
To augment the knowledge and practical expertise of youth workers in crafting, managing, and executing youth exchange initiatives under the Erasmus+ framework.
To offer guidance, resources, and strategies to refine the quality of youth exchanges, particularly focusing on unconventional learning and the global mobility of the youth.
To enable youth workers to actively engage young people in shaping projects that resonate with their interests, needs, and concerns.
To encourage networking and collaborative learning among attendees, promoting the exchange of personal experiences and perspectives.
To familiarize participants with the Erasmus+ program’s operations, its goals, and the nuances of project management.
All accommodation and meal expenses are covered for the duration of the project.
Lodging will be provided at the Xanascat Youth Hostel in La Seu d’Urgell, a picturesque medieval town nestled in Northern Catalonia.
Accommodations will feature mixed-nationality rooms, complete with WIFI access, personal lockers, bunk beds, and communal bathrooms.
The hostel will serve three meals a day, complemented by coffee breaks. A variety of dietary preferences, including vegetarian and vegan options, will be catered to.
The hostel’s prime location offers convenient access to local amenities such as pharmacies, supermarkets, cafés, and bazaars, all within a 10-minute stroll to the historic old town and the majestic twelfth-century cathedral.
Please note that while participants may travel for two days beyond the program schedule, the project does not cover additional accommodation and meal costs during this period.
