About internships
The Internship Slovakia Program organizes internships only within the framework of the Erasmus + program.
Which companies?
We collaborate with a broad network of companies, especially Slovak subsidiaries of top global companies, as well as successful international and Slovak startups.
When?
Internships are organized all year round. You can start any month as long as there is enough time to arrange the administration and necessary logistics beforehand.
What duration?
The minimum duration is 5 months and it can be longer.
Which regions?
Our locations are mainly in the capital city Bratislava but they can be in different parts of Slovakia.
We focus on internships in or near cities/towns where interns have good opportunities for their social life.
Which Industries?
We organize internships in almost all sectors, such as:
Business, NGOs, Business Management, Economy/Finance, Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, Tourism/Hotels, Design, Logistics, Engineering (mechanical, electrical, process, etc.), Import/Export, Informatics, Journalism, Agriculture and many more.
Which language?
The language of work for 95% of internships is English. There are some positions where other languages such as German, French or Spanish are required.
Do I gain any financial benefit?
Please note that our internships are unpaid, interns do not receive a salary from the host company.
However, we offer the same compensation for each internship: accommodation and, in most cases, a lunch allowance. Interns can use Erasmus+ grants to cover other living expenses, which are usually adequate in Slovakia.
Will it cost me anything to participate in the Placement Slovakia Programme?
Our program is totally free. We do not charge any fee to the interns or their schools.
