The Laboratorio Manodopera is an inclusive and dynamic center where adults with disabilities can explore their abilities and develop new skills. Up to 25 participants take part daily in creative workshops such as crafts (favors, felt products, artistic packaging), music and expression labs, motor and aquatic activities, as well as social-emotional exercises.
Structured routines encourage independence, well-being, and self-confidence. Through partnerships with schools, social centers, and local associations, participants build strong connections with the wider community.
Volunteers will experience a supportive and inspiring environment, witnessing creativity, inclusion, and personal growth in action. This program offers a unique chance to learn about social inclusion, educational practices, and community engagement while observing how empowerment, creativity, and skill-building transform lives.
🏠 Accommodation, Food, and Transport
Volunteers will stay in shared apartments with 1–2 roommates, within a housing complex that hosts 6–7 volunteers engaged in different local activities.
Meals and housing are provided by the organization, and transportation to and from activities is included. Living together fosters social interaction, cultural exchange, informal learning, teamwork, mutual support, and lasting friendships.
🎓 Training During the Activity
Volunteers will support educators in craft, music, motor, emotional, and autonomy workshops, as well as assist participants during local trips and inclusive activities.
They will join educational teams and supervision sessions, gaining valuable skills in inclusive education, group facilitation, and individualized planning.
By living and working closely with participants and fellow volunteers, they will contribute to daily routines, encourage autonomy, and help create a collaborative environment that positively impacts participants’ everyday lives.
👥 Participant Profile
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic volunteers who are eager to work with people with disabilities and share their passions.
