First project: ELF Festival 2024
Aims to promote non-formal activities through a dynamic blend of energizing and educational activities, and opportunities for personal and collective growth.
Second project: ELF Community
Improving the cooperation among the local community and international volunteers for organazing workshops and events promoting European values in Brașov area.
We are looking to create the ideal fusion between the volunteers (their skills, the skills we can train) and the local community so we can highlight the solidarity element.
Activity Insight ELF is an inclusive European volunteer project aimed at revitalizing rural communities through innovative non-formal education.
We’re assembling teams to design and execute activities for both the ELF Festival (Team A1) and the ELF Community (Team A2), focusing on utilizing art and nature as dynamic tools for youth learning and empowerment.
Living and Sustenance Provisions Volunteers will be hosted in the picturesque city of Brașov, nestled in the heart of the Transylvania Region and embraced by mountains.
This is where the core activities will unfold.
Accommodations include a private dormitory equipped with a kitchen and bathrooms, offering hot water, and rooms shared by 3-4 individuals.
Transportation support will be provided once travel details are confirmed.
Skill Development and Training The program includes:
Expert-led volunteer training for activity execution
Personal mentoring and coaching
Workshops on Non-Formal Education methods and tools
Strategy development and practical trials for educational activities
Artistic expression workshops to promote solidarity
Talent identification and personal development sessions
Immersive rural living experiences to advocate for sustainable living and zero waste practices.
Ideal Participant Traits We’re seeking 10 volunteers, including 4 with fewer opportunities, who are:
Keen on spending several weeks in rural settings and traveling
Eager to engage with local communities and forge new connections
Ready to dedicate their talents to communal development
Desirous of acquiring new competencies and collaborating internationally
Proficient in English
Residents of an EU or European country
Aged between 18-30 years

TEAM 1: 01.07 – 17.08
TEAM 2: 21.08 – 27.09 (travel days included)
