“The ‘Tamalpa Life Art workshop’ offers an enriching experience for youth workers interested in exploring new artistic approaches to support their youth target groups and personal development.
‘The Next Beat’ is a comprehensive program designed to empower youth workers with the skills and knowledge necessary for inclusive mental health practices, peer support, and youth leadership.
Objectives:
Inclusive Mental Health Programs:
Understand the mental health needs of underserved youth groups and youth workers.
Educate on how relationships and social connections impact mental health, providing strategies for fostering meaningful connections.
Activities and Outcomes:
Workshops and training modules to develop skills for creating safe, inclusive environments.
Experiential education workshops.
Dissemination events to share innovative mental health approaches at national and international online workshops.
Comprehensive competence development through a complete learning cycle for ETS competence self-assessment.
Impact:
Equip youth workers to address mental health challenges faced by underserved youth groups.
Promote social inclusion and resilience among youth.
Foster a network of skilled youth workers dedicated to improving mental health and well-being in their communities.
This training course for 26 participants from Bulgaria, Georgia, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Spain, and Turkey.
The program runs from October 20th to 31st, 2024, in Vila Franca do Campo Sao Miguel, Portugal
