Volunteering Opportunity at Rato – ADCC
Purpose:
Rato – ADCC aims to enhance local social and cultural work through IT tools and methods. While the primary focus is on young adults, the training activities are open to the general public.
Activities Include:
Assisting with various training sessions (e.g., ICT skills, Intercultural Learning, Youth Participation, Entrepreneurship).
Supporting global citizenship and educational activities in local schools.
Developing and promoting tools and activities that foster education, training, employment, mobility, non-formal education, and entrepreneurship.
Managing content and creating multimedia materials.
Assisting with activities in our Makerspace.
Accommodation, Food, and Transport
Accommodation:
Volunteers will stay in a rented apartment shared with other ESC volunteers, equipped with all necessary amenities.
Food:
Volunteers will receive an allowance to purchase and prepare their own meals.
Transport:
The accommodation is close to the hosting organization, so daily transportation is generally unnecessary. If transportation is needed for activities, Rato – ADCC will provide it.
Training During the Activity
In addition to language training and cultural integration, volunteers will gain knowledge in the following areas:
ICT trainer training
Web design using WordPress
Digital multimedia creation and editing
Maker space resources (3D printer, Arduino, sewing and embroidery machine, badge machine, stamping machine)
Organizing and promoting youth events
Participant Profile
We are looking for volunteers who:
- Have a passion for new media and digital art expression.
- Are motivated to engage in the project and its activities.
- Maintain a positive attitude towards various tasks and challenges.
- Are open to new learning experiences.
- Show initiative.
- Have an open mind towards intercultural experiences.
Note: The dates for the short-term project are flexible and can be adjusted.
