A total of 150 participants will take part in the program.
Travel expenses, accommodation and food expenses will be covered by EU.
The Forum gathers youth who are actively involved in advocating for youth participation and active citizenship.
Throughout the event, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with civil society advocates and influential figures from various parts of Europe.
The European Forum of Young Leaders is arranged within the framework of the European Youth Week (EYW), which occurs biennially and is orchestrated by the European Commission.
It aims to inspire young individuals to engage in European affairs and decisions, fostering discussions with leaders, sharing viewpoints, and highlighting projects.
EYW 2024 will take place from 12-19 April.
With the theme “Express your vision,” EYW 2024 will emphasize the civic engagement of youth in Europe and the practical implementation of democracy.
The Forum in Warsaw will provide an ideal platform to present activities and initiatives while contributing to broader conversations on Democracy & European values.
Educational goals of the Forum:
Encourage young individuals to actively participate in civic life and exercise their right to vote.
Discuss opportunities for international collaboration to enhance the quality of youth participation activities within the Erasmus+ program.
Focus on significant topics for youth, including supporting democratic participation and promoting European values.
Explore diverse perspectives and foster opportunities for collaboration and networking.
The Forum will serve as a venue for active youth advocates from Poland and other European Union countries, the Eastern Partnership, and the Western Balkans to exchange experiences, network, and engage in discussions on issues vital to young people across Europe.
