Hosting organization seeking volunteers to join a team of three who will support the work of Europe4Youth in Rabka-Zdroj. The responsibilities include:
Taking shifts at Kefirek, our local youth center in Rabka.
Assisting with activities at ReZone, our international mobility center hosting various Erasmus+ and ESC activities.
Mentoring short-term volunteers who will be staying in the same town for just one month.
Volunteers in Rabka-Zdroj play an essential role in the daily operations of the organization.
While residing in this peaceful and charming town, they will have the opportunity to develop as Youth Workers and serve as role models for the many young people living in and visiting this small city in southern Poland.
Volunteers will also have the chance to collaborate with the team of volunteers in Krakow, sharing ideas and best practices for workshops and activities based on their passions and hobbies.
Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements
Volunteers will be accommodated in a house with two rooms—a double and a single—allocated based on the team’s gender distribution. The house includes one bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room.
Volunteers will receive food and pocket money at the start of each month. Travel expenses to the volunteering destination will be reimbursed.
Any major expenses related to the house will be covered by the organization if essential items are missing or need replacement.
Training During the Activity
Volunteers will have access to the OLS language course to learn some Polish. They will participate in the On-Arrival and Mid-Term trainings organized by the Polish National Agency.
Europe4Youth will provide workshops on Youth Work and facilitation, along with day-to-day tutoring and mentoring to support the volunteers’ experience in Poland.
Participant Profile
Looking for motivated and engaged young people aged 18 to 30 with a basic understanding of English.
No specific studies are required, but we expect our volunteers to be proactive and enthusiastic about sharing their passions and hobbies through workshops and activities.
No prior knowledge is needed, as Europe4Youth will provide all the necessary training to introduce volunteers to the world of Youth Work at the beginning of their volunteering experience.
