The aim is to organize day camps for children aged 7-13 in various locations within the Valmiera municipality.
Volunteers will lead activities, provide support to participants, and assist young individuals in practical language learning.
They will also have the opportunity to initiate their own projects, acquire new skills, and explore intercultural diversity through non-formal learning methods.
Additionally, they will gain insights into other European cultures, learn about Rujiena, Latvia, and be encouraged to develop and implement their own ideas with support from their sending organization in their home country.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD, AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS:
Accommodation details will be finalized once all participants are selected and camp locations are confirmed.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY:
A training program will be provided during the first week to familiarize volunteers with the day camp structure, activities, responsibilities, and their roles as volunteers.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE:
We are seeking volunteers who enjoy working with children aged 7-13 and are capable of leading activities. Volunteers must be registered on the Youth portal.
