Overview
Seeking 6 enthusiastic participants aged between 18 and 30 to join us in an exciting project centered around sustainability and natural building.
This project takes place in the scenic mountains of Tramonti, a charming village on the Amalfi Coast.
Participants will help complete an eco-building situated in a forest, which serves as an educational hub for sustainable living, outdoor learning, and experiential practices.
This is a fantastic opportunity to escape the urban rush and immerse yourself in nature, while living and working within a community. You will aid in developing an eco-center in a chestnut forest and engage in various seasonal activities in the area.
This project builds on the work of previous initiatives from 2023-2024. Please note that travel days are January 10th and February 15th; additional travel days are allocated for Green travel.
Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements
Participants will be accommodated in a fully-equipped apartment, sharing a room with 3-4 other people. The work site and the nearest grocery store are within walking distance.
For food, fresh produce from our community garden and groceries provided by the organization will be available. Travel expenses will be reimbursed as per ESC guidelines. The travel budget may be slightly higher for Green travel (as per ESC guide).
Training During the Activity
Participants will receive comprehensive guidance and support throughout all activities. They will gain practical skills in natural building techniques.
,Learning outcomes include a deeper understanding of sustainable living, teamwork, community dynamics, and resilience.
Participant Profile
Looking for individuals who are eager to embrace community living, unafraid of residing away from urban centers, and ready to engage in hands-on work in nature.
Participants should be prepared for physical tasks. Previous experience is advantageous for this project. Availability for the entire activity period is essential.
