The project envisions the participation of 45 individuals from diverse European backgrounds over a span of 59 days.
The mobile initiative, traversing various trekking routes and trails of the ancient Via Francigene Siciliane, also engages with rural and secluded communities.
Throughout the project, volunteers will champion Non-Formal Education activities, implementing both individual and team-based initiatives. The overarching goals include:
Enhancing the health and well-being of vulnerable populations by advocating for healthy, eco-friendly, and positive lifestyles.
Contributing to the promotion and preservation of Sicily’s cultural heritage.
Raising awareness on topics encompassing health, cultural heritage, nature, and inclusion.
Volunteers will actively contribute to the H3 platform, serving as a repository for the volunteers’ journey, including StepByStep H3 – Group travel diaries, Heritage Tracks – a map highlighting the cultural heritage of Sicilian locations, and H3 Trails – a final video.
Pre-selected volunteers will receive email invitations for interviews.
